QualityLogic Inc. has formed the QualityLogic Test Tools Division, which went into full operation January 2, 2003. Dave Jollota, a 12-year veteran of QualityLogic, will head up the division. Jim Zuber, one of the founders of Genoa Technology and chief architect of the Genoa line of test tools, has rejoined the company as vice-president of research and development.

The mission of the QualityLogic Test Tools Division is to help manufacturers and service providers ensure that their products are interoperable by providing testing tools that replicate the behavior of products with which they must interoperate. The variety of devices that exchange information is increasing almost daily, and companies need sophisticated test tools more than ever. The QualityLogic Test Tools Division focuses on understanding the interoperability issues companies face and develop testing solutions to help them get their products out the door with increased confidence, while saving time and money. This focus on interoperability testing tools complements the interoperability testing services that QualityLogic has been providing to the industry for many years.
