Chaparral Software & Consulting Services, Inc. released Brushfire 2.1 for Windows and Macintosh, a significant update to the blazing fast and well-regarded FileMaker Pro analysis package.
July 9, 2004 -- Brushfire is a powerful utility for FileMaker Pro developers and advanced users, producing a complete cross-reference and error reporting analysis of FileMaker Pro based solutions. Brushfire shows details and usage of every field, relationship, layout and script in a FileMaker Pro solution, as well as numerous analysis reports that help identify errors and obsolete code, and prepare projects for migration to FileMaker Pro 7.
Brushfire 2.1 adds a completely new Brushfire Object Browser tool as an additional way to work with Brushfire report data from within FileMaker Pro. The Brushfire Object Browser makes it very easy to find specific Field, Relation, Layout and Script data for a solution. Each reference in the Brushfire Object Browser includes a button to take the user to the Brushfire detail pages in the main HTML-based report with a single click.
Brushfire 2.1 also includes a complete search facility, button references, improved Mac OS X 10.3 compatibility, and other improvements.
