GenerateScape has released three applications for searching, browsing and publishing internet media. Each application delivers breaking internet media to the user and allows the user to republish this media as XML (RSS and ATOM), HTML and PDF. The three tools are called SearchView, BigBlogZoo and MediaMiner. The first two are completely free and the third one is commercial trialware.

SearchView is a unique web search tool that enables you to search multiple search engines simultaneously and export selected results to XML (RSS, Atom) or PDF files. It presents the search results in a tabbed interface, as well as tree-style explorer view. Furthermore, you can send selected results by email, and also customize the search engine list by editing XML configuration files.

The BigBlogZoo is a rich source of current categorized information from all over the world. It's not just about blogs. Press releases, news, stock reports, forums and blogs are ready for you to mine for your information requirements.

MediaMiner is an out of the box online media analysis tool. Results are saved as HTML, PDF or XML (ATOM & RSS) and uploaded to your server.

MediaMiner is designed for researchers and webmasters. Researchers can use it to search for current online media and to categorize it, while webmasters can dynamically integrate that media into their websites through XML or HTML. Included is a sample application that lets you search for news about the world's largest companies.

Please note the downloads are largish, mostly because we ship a Java Runtime Environment with them, if you have a JRE 1.5 then you can use the smaller downloads further along the page. Furthermore, note that for the BigBlogZoo Classic and MediaMiner the system needs a minimum of 512mb.
