Fresh Software, a leader in innovative software designs, has released an update to its popular network monitoring software, X-NetStat Professional v5.

X-NetStat Professional version 5.49 now supports WinPcap packet sniffing to improve program performance and compatibility among network adapters. WinPcap is not required for use however, and the original X-NetStat packet sniffer is still available by default. Packet sniffing can be switched off on demand, and connections will still be detected.
