Current events in Iraq and North Korea set the stage for a nuclear battle in this game based around a rogue dictator and the real life atomic cannon. This arcade title reminds some of Worms, Pocket Tanks, or the classic Scorched Earth.

In Atomic Cannon players can use over fifty types of weapons, which are modeled after real artillery including nuclear bombs, hellfire missiles, and biological weapons such as anthrax. Teams take turns targeting and firing at each other on randomly generated battlefields, providing a unique experience each fight.

The game presents new dynamics not found in other titles by offering two different combat modes. In one mode players must outwit and outlast their opponents in a kill or be killed death match. The other mode is round based and teams simply rack up the most points to win. Up to eight human teams can battle at the same time so the whole family can join in the mayhem. If friends can't come out and play, the brawl can continue with computer opponents.

Atomic Cannon is compatible with Windows XP, 98, ME, 2000, NT, and requires 5 MB storage space to be installed. Atomic Cannon costs $19.95 and is backed by a 30-day unconditional money-back guarantee. The game is available directly from Isotope244 Graphics' website. There is a playable demo available as a free download from www.isotope244.com. Atomic Cannon is also available for the handheld Pocket PC.
