CrunchyCode 2.5 is an application generation tool which creates working ASP.NET 2.0 web applications from SQL Server tables. It can instantly produce apps using multiple technologies including AJAX, MSMQ, DHTML, XML, and Macromedia Flash.

Type in the name of a database table, click a button and CrunchyCode will create multiple fully operational web based applications (with sourcecode) for inserting, updating, deleting and reading records. Test websites for each application are immediately generated.

The stored procedures, web front ends and middle tier are all generated automatically. A number of different styles of user interface are automatically generated, such as wizards, datagrids and accordions.

Different application architectures are automatically generated, for example:
- Postback free client/server communications using XMLHTTP/AJAX,
- Advanced UI interactions using Dynamic HTML/JavaScript,
- Paging recordsets with ASP.NET and
- Asynchronous processing with Microsoft Message Queue
