The PicoServ Analogue I/O module now provides support for PT100 Temperature Sensors and gives the capability to monitor up to 64 temperature sensors over a LAN or the Internet using a standard web browser.
March 12, 2004 -- Recent enhancements to the PicoServ Analogue I/O module allow up to four PT100 temperature sensors to be connected to each module. Platinum Resistance Thermometers (PRTs) offer excellent accuracy over a wide temperature range. Standard Sensors are available from many manufacturers with various accuracy specifications and numerous packaging options to suit most applications.
The four analogue input ports on the analogue I/O module may be individually configured to accept a PT100 temperature sensor, a semiconductor temperature sensor, a 0-2V voltage input with a 2mV resolution or a 0-4V voltage input with a 4mV resolution.
In addition to it’s four analogue inputs the PicoServ analogue I/O module also provides four digital output ports which can be used to control heating elements etc. and four digital input ports which can be used to monitor alarms, switches etc.
The PicoServ web server module offers a compact “no PC” web access solution with each system able to support up to eight such I/O cards giving the capability to monitor up to 64 temperature sensors over a LAN or the Internet using a standard web browser.
