Outlook Attachment Sniffer is an Outlook Add-In, which enables you to extract easily all attachments from all items from one of your Outlook folders (with or without subfolders) IN ONE GO! Optional you can create subdirectories depending on the Outlook foldername, item´s sender, recipient, subject and date. You also can replace an attachment by a shortcut to the extracted file, remove the attachment from the item or delete the item itself. The program ALSO is able to INSPECT MSG-attachments for attachments INSIDE the MSG-file recursively. NEW in this version: Autoreplace the shortcuts by the original extracted attachments when sending or forwarding an email containing a shortcut to an extracted attachment. Also new: Reimport of the extracted attachments. Removing attachments is a good way to solve some problems on a suffering Outlook. After removing unneeded attachments you can shrink your *.PST-files to reasonable file sizes and in some cases SIGNIFICANTLY increase the performance of Outlook. To use this program you must have installed Outlook 2000 or higher (not Outlook Express!).
