If you ever worked on a Mac, or with Linux and other Unix variants, you probably noticed that when you insert a CD, or attach a USB storage device, a shortcut will appear on the desktop automatically. Windows does not have this behaviour.

Now this is a little utility that does just that. Whenever a CD or another removable media becomes available, DeskMount will add a shortcut on the desktop. Eject the media, and the shortcut disappears.

The full version is available at http://www.blackbit.net, and enables all features, including CDDB integration, and universal autorun(.inf) support for ALL types of drives.
