With the ActiveEmail OLE/COM component, you can add and control e-mail functionality within your project in short time. The component does not need MAPI. Sending messages features: custom header fields for messages. create message body (plain or HTML). Create message body using character sets like US-ASCII, ISO-8859-2. Add attachments using Base64 or Quoted-printable. Attachments can be embedded in message body. Add MIME entities. You can set the message sender, add multiple message authors, add multiple Reply-To (singles and groups), add multiple primary, CC, and BCC recipients singles and groups. Authentication using the AUTH LOGIN mechanism.
To improve performance, outgoing mails can be queued instead of send them directly, and processed in the background the ActiveEmail Queue service (with no extra costs).
The product also features NNTP news postings to news servers.
