TrustPort Archive Encryption, the software from AEC laboratories, satisfies all the stated requirements by its unique solution. The whole solution is composed of three independent parts. First two called TrustPort Mobile Encryption are
designed for portable devices and the third one called TrustPort Archive Encryption is for regular PCs.
All three parts basically realize on-demand files encryption and decryption. The PC version also allows transferring encrypted files between various PDA platforms.
On a PC it is possible to manipulate with files destined for the mobile parts of the solution. All TrustPort Archive/Mobile Encryption modules are based on international standards and use strong encryption algorithms. Encryption and decryption processed on password basis. The password has to be transmitted to the receiver by another secure communication channel (by phone etc.).

The software uses a set of encryption algorithms; the customer can chose from them according to his needs. The set includes CAST 128, Rijndael (default algorithms) and also TwoFish, BlowFish and MD5 (hash). The inserted password is used as a base for encryption key.

This software is designated for Windows operating system. It allows on-demand encryption and decryption of files and folders into PDA compatible CPH format or to create encrypted archives. There is also a possibility to create self-extracting EXE archives that can be unpacked independently on TrustPort Encryption. These archives can be also packed into ZIP envelope to be able to send them as e-mail attachments.
