DBA Online is a worldwide wargaming project, which includes a computerized version of famous De Bellis Antiquitatis ruleset by Phil Barker, Richard Bodley Scott & Sue Laflin Barker (published by Wargames Research Group) and the DBA Online Internet Club, a worldwide wargaming community. Now you may play ancient & medieval battles with hundreds of live opponents all over the world. With DBA Online Club you will be able to find an opponent of almost any level of skills and frequency of play. Also you can participate in International Tournaments and Campaigns. There are always a couple of Tournaments currently running and recruiting players. DBA Online includes 220 Painted historical armies(1180 units!) from Old Kingdom Egyptian (3000 BC) to Burgundian Ordonnance (15 century AD).
DBA Online software is distributed for free as is.
What you can do for free:
1) Trial Internet Games with anyone
2) Full Value Internet Games with "Game Master" and "Mentors"
3) Hot Seat Games
4) Figure Gallery
5) Participate in Discussions and Chats
Trial Games Limitations:
A) They stop when 3 units are killed
B) They don't count for your personal statistics/rankings
C) You cannot participate in Tournaments or Campaigns

1) Play any number of Full Value Internet Games with anyone
2) Participate in Tournaments and Campaigns
